The mission of the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce is to bring businesses and resources together to serve, represent and promote local commerce while advancing the general welfare of our community.
At the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce, we advocate for the success and advancement of our local businesses. Senior Vice President, Investments
Prior to joining Raymond James in 2014, Alex held high-level roles with some of the financial industry’s leading firms, most recently as a senior vice president and branch manager at Stifel Nicolaus. He also serves as branch director of the Gallego Financial Group of Raymond James, working closely with his wife, Rosemarie. Alex graduated from the American Intercontinental University School of Business, and then went on to earn the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designation from the College of Financial Planning and the Wealth Management Specialist (WMS) designation from Kaplan Financial Education.
Native New Yorkers, the Gallegos live in East Norwich with their children, Natalie, AJ and Anna. Alex is committed to helping make the Oyster Bay community a better place to live and work by supporting local business and cultural activities. The current president of the Oyster Bay/East Norwich Chamber of Commerce, Alex has actively volunteered with the Long Island Fight for Charity, St. Edwards Confessor School, and as a coach for the Locust Valley Bayville Soccer Club. He is also a retired NCOIC/unit commander of the New York State defense force 104 logistics support detachment 142 service company 14BN 88TH brigade. In 2015, Alex was appointed by the New York Department of State to be a notary public.
